Hi there, I’m Jamie.
I have what many would call an unhealthy addiction to my horse, Cruz. Okay, lets be honest I have an addiction to any horse.
You will most likely find me at the barn or photographing at your next horse show! Let’s be honest, I love sitting ring side capturing horse shows moments because I love rooting for everyone as they compete. Being horse obsessed since 1991 and having the opportunity to learn more about multiple disciplines has made me a better horsewoman (and photographer) in my opinion.
When I am not at the barn or behind the lens you can catch me putting in points for my local horse show association MHSA as the H/J point secretary. Yes, I know I never turn off and that is what makes me, Me! When I do finally turn off you can catch me binging some Netflix or out traveling!
So how did I get behind the lens? Well it all started years ago when I picked up my first Nikon back in middle school. I loved playing around with it and testing how I could capture moments that last forever. When I went off to college I took a class in photography at William Woods University. (Insert horses and photography clashing) That was all it took to hook the bug in a little deeper. I have always dabbled behind the lens wanting everyone to keep a memory with the animals they love. I finally pulled the trigger in fall 2021.
